PINK’s 6th annual fall conference will be held at the InterContinental Buckhead hotel in Atlanta on Monday, November 15, 2010. Networking begins at 11AM. “With more than half of MetLife’s workforce consisting of women, we understand the importance of providing opportunities for personal and professional development that are geared specifically toward women,” says Michael J. Vietri, executive vice president, Individual Distribution. “The event also provides a great platform to highlight and discuss the unique financial concerns facing women today.”
Hundreds of career-focused women will attend to network with each other and hear success secrets from these business leaders on topics ranging from finance to leadership, as well as life balance and how to make it in business when women hold only 18 percent of top positions. PINK and those attending will also raise dollars to support Kate’s Club, a nonprofit that empowers children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or a sibling. To date, PINK has raised more than $70,000 for nonprofits supporting women and girls.
